It’s clementine time here in Germany and I couldn’t bear to continue throwing away all the cool wooden boxes they come in. So now, my flat is slowly filling with tiny, painted, clementine box shelves 🙂

Hey Kait I really like your style (also the other works as designer) and I want to compliment with you for the idea!
However i got shocked because I’ve instantly recognized this kind of walls decoration and heating pipes, which are also the same of mine here in Berlin. So I would to ask you how did you hanged it on the wall, cos mine is so aseptic and I want to make it colorful too.
But I faced the reinforced concrete!
Thanks in advance for the answer and gratz again for your works 😉
Hey there Solko!
Thank you so much – you put a big smile on my face! And hey, good eye w/the wall and pipes!! Impressive! The box is hung on a plaster wall (luckily not concrete – it’s deceiving I see though in the picture)…so it’s held up with simple nails! Concrete is tricky, yes – what are you thinking of hanging? Maybe you could just paint the concrete to add some color?!?! 🙂 So lovely of you to write!
Oh I was hoping that..
Believe me I recognized it so easily, because is right behind my monitor!
However I was thinking about for a wooden laminate, scraped up from an abandoned closet, decorated with a stencil and hanged to the wall.
Happy to make you smile btw =)
WOW – that sounds like it would be pretty awesome! I’m not much of a handy-man type (or woman..haha)…can you drill it in the wall – oh goodness, I’m not sure! I love the idea or re-using pieces from the abandoned closet – nice! Up-cycling!!!!
